SinVision was approached to film, edit, and produce a DVD and cover artwork for the Generations band whilst they recently played to an audience from the food reta il giant Iceland, at the Hinckley Football Stadium.

The load in process for any band is a laborious job, and I was on hand to catch the load in taking place.

Two camera's were actualy used in the filming of this event. A Canon XM2, and Canon XL1 both tripod mounted and set to the sides to allow the audience place to use the dance floor. Sarah my eldest daughter was the XM2 camera operator covering from the front left of the stage area. Soundwise X2 20 metre XLR cables direct from the sound desk to my XL1 for nice quality sound. Generations are a five piece midlands based covers band, playing thier very own interpretations of classic blues, rock and pop songs as well as some bang up to date stuff - in fact something for every generation!

The band members are very unique in that they are all multi-instrumentalist, so if you've had one too many later in the night - its not your eyes playing tricks - we may well have swapped instruments.

As you would expect from accomplished musicians, all thier music is live - nothing is pre-recorded or sequenced. They have a vast set/song list which always goes down a storm at weddings, parties and good old shin digs!

They also have their own 10,000,plus watt pa which is suitable for most venues and capable of coping with large audiences both indoor and outdoor.
