Since 2005, we have been producing and supplying promotional films and DVDs for the likes of B&Q, The Royal British Legion, Driving-Adventures, Local Authorities, former Journey lead singer, Jeff Scott Soto, The Official Queen Official Fan Club along with a variety of motor sport teams and bands and artistes.

We offer a full worldwide filming service for the individual through to the corporate customer. Our services also include full editing and creation of show reels, filming, editing, and production of promotions, full dvd productions and presentations, while we also have the facility to convert films from one format to another, including VHS to DVD, audio enhancement, still digital images setup as a pan and zoom multimedia, show reels created for Equity members with full design package.

Large orders of printed and duplicated DVD’s are undertaken with the use of a professional printer / duplicator.

MY BACKGROUND
After spending 24 years in the Military, I retired in Jan 2001 and looked to new horizons working initially as a fully qualified Microsoft Certified Professional for an I.T and Telecoms Company based in Leicester.

However, since 2003, I worked closely with AAUK Specialist Management Services to provide a service for their promotional film and DVD requirements and by 2007, demand dictated that a stand along company was required and SinVision was born.

As a fully accredited Cinematographer and a member of the Institute of Videography, at 46, I live in Leicester, England.

In 2007 I completed a 3 month Advanced Camera operators course. This included scripting, health and safety, lighting, camera work, sound editing, and the following topics:-

• The language and grammar of the moving image - how a sequence of shots combine to communicate with an audience.
• Script and story structure.
• Production planning and crew roles.
• Video camera operation.
• Location sound acquisition.
• Preparation of material for non-linear editing of sound and picture.
• Post-production sound.
• Copyright clearances, legal implications, health and safety.
• Pitching - students pitch their film ideas for the group productions.
• Pre-production development of selected movie ideas.
• Two days shooting and two days post-production.
• Public screening of completed movies

MY EQUIPMENT

I own the Sony Z1 Hi Def and Canon XM2 3 CCD Mini DV camera's. Any one who knows their camera's will tell you that these two camera's produce excellant quality results in all conditions. I also use Sony mini DV and Sony Hi8 video camera's mainly for static work, eg postioned infront of a drummer at a gig, pointing to the crowd, or even paintballing.

I have a Sony wireless radio mic which is great for close up interviewing or even further afield filmed shots that still require sharp clear audio. XLR mic adapters to allow my two 20 meter XLR leads to be connected directly from a sound deck to any of my two professional camera's if required.

I use a velbon 7000 fluid head tripod, a GIOTTOS BL1150 VIDEO tripod kit with floor spreader, and a professional tripod dolly.
