55th Korean War Commemoration Day


SinVision was asked to film The Korean War Commemoration day 55th Anniversary of the Armistice which brought to a halt the hostilities in the Korean War 1950-1953. This Service took place at The National Memorial Arboretum Alrewas, Staffordshire on Sunday 27 July 2008.

This Commemoration day is to remember the devastation and suffering of South Korea and its people, indeed all of Korea who suffered the horror of war.

Tribute was paid to the families and friends of those who failed to return home. Special guests of the British Korean Veterans Association who attended were his Excellency the Ambassador of The Republic of Korea Mr Chun Yung-Woo and Mrs Chun, the Defence Attaché at The Embassy of The Republic of Korea Captain (Navy) J K Lee and Mrs Lee.

This Korean War Commemoration Day DVD shows the remembrance service that took place at The National Arboretum Alrewas, Staffordshire on Sunday 27th July 2008.
