The Concert for the Special Olympics took place at DeMontfort hall on Saturday 27 June 2009. The 60 strong Bardi Wind Orchestra played and entertained the hundreds of people and dignitaries who had come to witness this special occasion.

Soloist's Karen West and David Morris gave it their all and brought the house down together at the end with a joint rendition of Queen's We are the Champions.
