Cosby Big LoVE Committee formed to bring a day of entertainment to the village on the park following a long spell of no such event since the demise of the Gala committee. After a four year wait of no other people wanting to organize such an event William Donaghue created Cosby Big Love in 2004.  The event was a small gathering of villagers who played music on a hand made stage.  This was not only a small success but a huge inspiring moment.  William then approached Mrs.Janet Forey (organizer of previous village events) and set about lobbying the Village Hall Committee.

Over the weekend of the 29th and 30th of September 2007 The Victory Park Prom 25th Anniversary of the Falklands took place. The Band of the Parachute Regiment marched and led the way for the Veterans to lay two wreaths and pay their respects at the local Cosby Church. The Band also played to the crowd in a heated, seated marqee.

On the evening of Fri the 29th Serpico a local Leicestershire band and The Fat Ankles a tribute to Oasis played in the village hall. Tickets were sold out and according to William Donaghue the event organiser, the Village Hall has never been packed out so much in it's history so the evening was a complete success.
